Exactly a month ago, I decided to give it a go. Began my blogging journey via  https://kaberisden.home.blog/. Trust me, it is a lot different than what I am engaged in, otherwise. And most importantly, I’m loving every minute of it. For me, whose boredom threshold is phenomenally low, here I am all fired up to write my next post and engage with ‘YOU’ —-my (thankfully) growing audience, almost everyday. And no, I don’t think it is the novelty of it, this time. Because most of the things I began and left halfway…. in a matter of days/weeks, were novel to me, at those points in time. Mushroom cultivation, reiki, glass-painting, book binding ……… the list is embarrasingly long. So this time, I’ve even surprised myself (happily!!!!)

The whole idea of sharing ideas (weird ones, included) and hacks (which may be, works only for myself), having a conversation, and basically talking endlessly, without restraint, about anything I find interesting — works pretty good for me, it seems. And those encouraging comments and ‘likes’ are a real boost, too.

When I started out, I did not have any expectation about whether people would visit my site at all, let alone how many. So I am more than happy with the response, I am getting. It is so unbelievably wholesome to work without deadlines and regimen and be completely spontaneous. May be that’s what is keeping me going for a change…..’unrestraint’.

I come unprepared, as I would when I am talking to my friends. But I am trying to get a hang on the technical aspects of blogging and failing spectacularly, at it. I am as naive, today, as I was a month back. Hence you will find content on my blog and not glitter. And my takeaway (in this little time that I have been in) from your appreciations have been that, content do matter.

PS: Another vital take-away in my first blogging month……………. time-management. Over and above what I do and did to fill my day, now, I have to make some time for blogging, if not everyday….. as often as I can. Because otherwise I miss it, and I feel bad. So an attempt at time-management ………to do something I really like!!
